My very first job was bagging groceries; honest work, but it's hard to craft a career out of that. I had the privilege to have classes in my high school that got me hooked on digital media--I still have a passionately made but amateurish Billy Joel music video from that class--and several of my early jobs out of college were connected to that digital media work. Exploring that realm in my teens was a foundational experience for me--and I'm raising funds so that other teens can have that same experience.
