Lisa Twiss's Fundraiser
We can help young creative professionals build their skills.
Please join me by giving.
If you know me pretty well, you know that in addition to loving my family and being outside, I love Baltimore's young people. I have spent most of my career (almost from the time that picture of me on this page was taken 31 years ago!) committed to helping young people thrive; that's why I'm asking for your support now!
This spring, Wide Angle Youth Media welcomed 5 talented emerging creatives onto our team as year-long apprentices & interns. Over the course of a year, they will receive 500- 1,000+ hours of on-the job-training. To support all 14 older youth on our staff, during the month of May, we’re raising $35,000 towards their summer wages. We believe strongly that young people should be equitably paid for their time and talents.
For my 50th birthday (which happens this month), I invite you to donate any amount that has a 5 or 9 in it:) Helping Wide Angle reach its goal so that emerging professionals can be paid for their work and deepen their skills would be the greatest gift I could receive:)
