Launch the Next Generation of Creative Professionals
Your gift supports 16 emerging creatives gaining 500–2,000 hours of paid training while building portfolios, careers, and community impact.
For 25 years, Wide Angle has equipped Baltimore youth with the tools, training, and paid opportunities to transform creativity into viable career pathways. This spring, we’re raising $50,000 to support 16 apprentices, interns, and journeyworkers ages 18-26 as they build careers at Wide Angle, and we need your help.
Our developing professionals build a full spectrum of skills while shaping their own futures. They pitch clients, lead casting calls, produce videos, refine design campaigns, and spotlight community organizations and social impact initiatives. Along the way, they also gain entrepreneurship skills and launch their own creative ventures.
Your support provides emerging creatives with mentorship, client exposure, career coaching, production equipment, and equitable paid work experience. Gifts to this campaign provide summer wages and sustain year-long professional training for young professionals at Wide Angle.

Maryland residents can double their impact.
Wide Angle is part of the state’s special Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC) program, available for Maryland-based donors for gifts over $500. Through CITC, individual donors may receive significant state tax benefits to make your investment go even further. The tax credit functions as a 50/50 split of your gift - half of your total donation comes back to you as a Maryland state tax credit
