Play It Forward to keep our youth paid and learning (online) this summer

As a part of the team at Wide Angle Youth Media, I am reaching out to share a quick and direct opportunity to give back to a non-profit that is very meaningful to me. Wide Angle teaches 400+ youth each year media skills to engage their community. They also have a workforce apprenticeship program that prepares youth with the experience needed to enter the media industry. During Covid-19, apprentices are working from home to produce client work and participate in virtual training.

Wide Angle remains committed to providing apprentices wages over the summer, ensuring they have needed financial support during Covid-19. We are working collectively to raise $15,800 from May 19 - June 10 - vital funds that will directly support a youth payment over the summer. My personal goal is to raise $625 from May 19 - June 10 to support this expansion.

• $24 - 2 hours wages for a Design apprentice
• $48 - 4 hours wages for a Video Production apprentice
• $96 - 8 hour workday for an apprentice
• $250 - 2 days wages for FT apprentice
• $625 1 weeks wages for FT apprentice
• $1,500 - 2 months wages for Assistant Producer (60 hours)
