We need your help to continue our high school programs!
At Wide Angle Youth Media, we're equipping next-gen creatives with hands-on experience in media arts and communication. In 2025, 110 high school students will participate in our transformative programs, now housed in new state-of-the-art facilities.
Our students grow as artists, build career-ready skills, and find their voices in a supportive, youth-centered space. Wide Angle seniors graduate high school and go on to college at significantly higher rates than their city-wide peers. Studies show that access to high-quality arts education improves academic outcomes, cultivates social-emotional skills, and opens doors to future opportunities. Our programs make a real difference, supporting students to grow, create, and thrive in ways that truly shape their futures.
Real Talk
This year, a vital piece of our program funding is at risk. The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grant—$45,000, or 18% of our 2025 high school program budget—is uncertain. Since last fall, we've already lost nearly $20,000 in public funding due to city, state, and federal shifts. We’re raising funds now to ensure that whatever comes next, we can continue delivering life-changing media education to Baltimore’s young artists.
